It’s been quite a few weeks for rock music fans lately.
Last week we heard twenty other acts who take to the stage in Donington Park, Leicestershire, for the annual Download Festival rock event.
And now Welsh legends Stereophonics have announced a Christmas concert in the country’s capital, Cardiff.
There is also a bonus for fans. The rock act, who is from Cwmaman, won’t be alone as they have also announced two Welsh artists who are set to join them on stage.
All of this probably has you wondering, when Stereophonics is performing, where will it be performing, and who will join the rock band on stage? Well, let us tell you what we know.
When do Stereophonics arrive at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff?
Rock band Stereophonics perform at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on Saturday 18th December.
Fans can get tickets to the event by visiting the TicketMaster website on Friday, September 10 at 9 a.m.
The concert was named We’ll Keep A Welcome, and Stereophonics won’t be performing alone as they have announced other bands who will also be joining them.
Who will join Stereophonics at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff?
Welsh singing legend Tom Jones, from Pontypridd, is among the artists who will join Stereophonics at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
Indie band Catfish and the Bottlemen from Llandudno will also perform alongside Stereophonics. Other artists should be announced soon.
Will the band do a Stereophonics tour in 2021?
Stereophonics are due to go on tour from spring 2022. The gig at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium appears to be a special Christmas gig.
The 2022 tour kicks off in March and kicks off at Manchester’s AO Arena on March 18 before heading to Aberdeen, Glasgow, Brighton and many other locations.
It will end at Birmingham’s Resorts World Arena on April 2.
The tour will coincide with the band’s release of their latest album, Oochya!, which is also slated for release in March.
