Buffett tribute band gear up for Cliffside on July 3 | Community


As part of the West Virginia Theater’s Summer Concert Series, the Parrots of the Caribbean (POTC), known as Number 1 in the Jimmy Buffett Tribute, will perform at the Cliffside Amphitheater in Grandview, America’s newest national park, New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, Sunday, July 3 at 7:30 p.m.

With quality musicianship, professional live skills and over two centuries of combined stage experience, POTC will bring the excitement and energy of all your favorite Jimmy Buffett songs like Margaritaville and Cheeseburger in Paradise to life under the stars. .

Other shows this summer at Theater West Virginia include Rocket Boys The Musical and The Wizard of Oz. In addition to this weekend’s performance by “Parrots of the Caribbean,” the Sunday night summer concert series will feature tributes to Elvis and wrap up with fan favorites Phil Dirt and the Dozers.

All of Theater West Virginia’s summer productions will take place at the beautiful 1,200-seat Cliffside Amphitheater in Grandview. Most performances begin at 7:30 p.m., with live pre-show music before each show.
