CE Pro All-Star Band Members Excited For Live Concert
“I’m honored to be part of this great set of talent – from all areas of our industry,” says Bigoness, Director of Marketing at D-Tools.
“This year will be even more special. For many of us, it’s a return to CEDIA Expo and a chance to reconnect with many friends and colleagues. We’ve put together a pretty ambitious set this year and putting it all together remotely has its challenges. Still, it is truly a labor of love.
Many professionals participating in EC Professional All-Star Band has spent years in the industry. They are also excellent musicians, as many have played all their lives. The return of the EC Professional All-Star Band is an exciting opportunity for the industry to come together around a collective love of music.
“For me, playing with EC Professional The All-Star group is one of the highlights of the show,” notes Silkin, president and COO of Digital Sales Group Metro/DSG Distributors. “Something magical happens every time we get together. I am convinced that this year will be our best performance to date.
The EC Professional The All-Star Band Rock Reunion will take place on Thursday, September 29 at the Smart Stage at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. The event will follow the EC Professional BEST Project Awards ceremony, which begins at 4 p.m.
Attendees will be encouraged to sing, dance and even join the band on stage when returning to a live performance.
While the group last performed live at CEDIA Expo 2019, the members also went to great lengths (with technical assistance from others) to collaborate on the CEDIA Expo 2020 virtual event, when individual remote performances were impressively mixed to create streaming “concert” videos.
“The EC Professional All-Star Band is such a fun time for me to hang out with such a great group of very humble and talented guys,” says Archer, who as EC Professional editor has spearheaded the band’s appearances at CEDIA Expos over the years.
“I feel lucky to be able to get on stage with the guys and share our collective love of music. I also think it’s really important that everyone outside of our small band circle knows how great it is. is a commitment to learn these songs, and it’s great to share the same collective goal of putting on the best possible performance when we appear.
