Dave Matthews Band set to play American Family Insurance Amphitheater on September 15


OWe have just published our list of summer festivals canceled or still running (for now)and yes, summer festival is always on. Always September 2-4, September 9-11 and September 16-18, to be exact. And now there’s another confirmed headliner: Dave Matthews Band will headline the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on Wednesday, September 15. Tickets for the Wednesday evening special show are on sale now. (It’s still technically a Summerfest show even though Summerfest is “off” that night, right? Sure. We’ll say it is.)

Dave Matthews Band was previously scheduled to play Summerfest 2020, but hey, you know. The rescheduled 2021 show is Summerfest’s first rescheduled amphitheater show. The shows of Luke Bryan, Justin Bieber, Blink-182, Chris Stapleton and Guns N’ Roses are currently listed as TBA. Khalid and Halsey’s shows have been cancelled.

MILWAUKEE, WI (February 2, 2021) – Today, Dave Matthews Band announced rescheduled dates for their 2021 North American Summer Tour, which kicks off July 23 in Raleigh, NC at Coastal Credit Union Music Park in Walnut Creek. Summerfest will host the Dave Matthews Band Concert on September 15, 2021, for a special Wednesday night show at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater. All online ticket orders, including those purchased previously or tickets purchased in the future, include a digital ticket for Summerfest 2021, valid for any of the nine days of the festival. Fans who have already purchased tickets in person at the Summerfest box office should return to the same location to receive a general admission ticket for Summerfest 2021. Refunds will be available from the original point of purchase for 30 days from the announcement of the postponement date. Ticket buyers will receive an email from Ticketmaster telling them how to get a refund if they cannot attend the rescheduled date. The main race will include two-night stands in West Palm Beach, FL, Chicago, IL, Noblesville, IN, Gilford, NH, Irvine, CA and Saratoga Springs, NY. The band will also make their annual return to the Gorge Amphitheater for their traditional three-night Labor Day run. The group will be joined by supporting artists Dumpstaphunk and Allen Stone on Friday; Robert Randolph and the Family Band on Saturday and Mavis Staples on Sunday.
