OMD tickets for Liverpool shows as band set for Merseyside return

Three years after their last sold-out two-night show at the Liverpool Philharmonic, Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark – to give OMD their full title – are back in town for two more nights.

In fact, do three – but you can forget about attending the intimate 350-seat Future Yard in October. OMD’s first two-piece appearance at Birkenhead for 42 years was sold out in minutes.

An Empire show on November 21 also sold out, hence another appearance by synth pop pioneers Wirral at the Eventim Apollo on November 23.

It’s the culmination of the national ‘Architecture & More’ tour and will feature songs from OMD’s iconic ‘Architecture & Morality’ album, as well as many other hits from their legendary catalog.

OMD have sold 25 million singles and 15 million albums since being called “the future of pop” by Tony Wilson in 1978.

Forty-three years later, they’re still recording, still pressing best-selling albums, and still selling out shows.

Tickets are on sale now here and on Ticketmaster.
